Under Office of Policy Analysis, consolidated with Nonfiscal Committee Staffing in Sept. 2000 to form a single unit called Committee Staffing.

LEGISLATIVE BILL ROOM
Formerly under Department of Fiscal Services, in 1997, Bill Room became a component of Distribution Services under Finance and Administrative Services within Department of Legislative Services.

LEGISLATIVE DIVISION
Formerly under Department of Legislative Reference, Division functions assumed in 1997 by Office of Policy Analysis in Department of Legislative Services.

LEGISLATIVE DRAFTING
Under Policy Analysis, renamed Legislative and Amendment Drafting in 1997.

Formerly under Department of Fiscal Services, Office functions became part of Finance and Administrative Services in 1997 under Department of Legislative Services.

OFFICE OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Formerly under Department of Fiscal Services, in 1997, Office was reorganized as a team under Finance and Administrative Services within Department of Legislative Services.

PAYROLL, ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE, & REPORTING
Under Finance and Administrative Services, abolished in Jan. 2002; functions transferred to Fiscal Operations.

PERSONNEL OFFICE
Renamed Human Resources in July 1999.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & ADMINISTRATION
Under Office of Legislative Audits, merged with Quality Assurance to form Quality Assurance and Professional Development in Oct. 2013.

PUBLIC UTILITY COMPANIES ARTICLE REVIEW COMMITTEE

Committee work was completed when General Assembly enacted Public Utility Companies Article of Annotated Code of Maryland in 1998 (Chapter 8, Acts of 1998).

QUALITY ASSURANCE

TELECOMMUNICATIONS OPERATIONS
